Senior Product Manager (Finance and Account Management)

Location: Remote in the UK or Europe; UK collaboration hours.

What you will do

• Own product strategy and roadmaps for the Finance and Account Management squads, linking roadmap items to measurable business outcomes.
• Reduce payment costs through payment method selection, Pay by Bank, multi-currency settlement, provider migrations, and reducing payment failures, disputes and chargebacks.
• Grow finance revenue through fee and pricing structures, chargeable-item processing fees, tax and duty reconciliation, and VAT/GST invoicing.
• Own the account lifecycle from sign-up and verification through roles, permissions, settings and closure, while evolving fraud and risk controls.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Customer Experience, Sales, Legal and Engineering to deliver scalable solutions and monitor transaction, revenue, fraud, onboarding and support metrics.
• Prioritize and deliver MVPs, write PRDs and Opportunity Assessments, use AI tools in product work, and mentor less experienced product managers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years owning payments, billing or fintech products in B2B SaaS, marketplaces or eCommerce.
• Hands-on experience with payment service providers such as Stripe or Adyen, local payment methods, multi-currency settlement, disputes, chargebacks and payment reconciliation.
• Knowledge of account and identity products, including KYC/KYB, role-based access control, fraud detection and risk-scoring tools.
• Understanding of VAT/GST tax invoicing and basic revenue accounting, with experience working closely with Finance teams.
• Proven ability to improve business metrics such as cost, revenue and loss rates with quantifiable examples.
• Experience running more than one engineering squad or roadmap in parallel.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to pull and interpret data using SQL or equivalent.
• Clear, structured written communication and confidence challenging engineering, stakeholders and leadership with evidence.
• Practical, demonstrable use of AI tools in day-to-day product work.
