Corporate Counsel (SaaS)

Location: GB Remote; licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction of residence required

What you will do

• Support the commercial needs of hirify.global’s global operations and build effective relationships with business teams.
• Advise HR, Finance, IT, Services, Product, and Marketing teams on employment, intellectual property, compliance, governance, M&A, data privacy, dispute resolution, and other legal matters.
• Review and prepare complex global and regional commercial agreements, including SaaS/software, professional services, consulting, licensing, and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with legal team leaders and global outside counsel.
• Support legal team processes aligned with business strategy and ensure daily work follows company and team policies.
• May manage contract managers or paralegals.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience, including in-house experience at a multinational company and additional law firm or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with global teams at a multinational business and addressing cross-border legal issues.
• JD or equivalent law degree required; common law education or equivalent knowledge strongly preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction of residence required.
• Experience managing B2B contracts and developing successful relationships with sales teams; SaaS experience preferred.
• Excellent writing, negotiation, and drafting skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly.
• Good knowledge of data privacy, security, and intellectual property issues relevant to SaaS/software providers.
• Knowledge of at least one additional substantive area, such as employment law, corporate governance or subsidiary management, compliance, or M&A.
• Project management skills, strong attention to detail, proactive teamwork, and the ability to identify issues and propose solutions in a fast-paced environment.
