Senior Commercial Counsel - Flex Coverage Across EMEA

Location: Remote, based in the UK; supports commercial transactions across EMEA.

What you will do

• Support hirify.global’s enterprise sales business as part of the Commercial Legal Team.
• Negotiate enterprise cloud, software licensing, partner, and master services agreements.
• Review customer and partner contract requests and provide pragmatic, business-oriented guidance on contractual issues.
• Partner with sales, deal desk, alliances, privacy, risk, compliance, security, finance, accounting, and product teams.
• Develop contract support materials and training for direct sales and channel teams.
• Improve contract processes, sales enablement, customer-facing forms, and related legal projects while supporting AI implementation across legal workstreams.

Requirements

• Full Netherlands, French, German, Spanish, Italian, or UK law degree (LLB/LLM), ideally with a formal bar qualification or equivalent professional registry, and 8+ years PQE.
• Strong experience handling B2B contract negotiations, particularly in SaaS, technology, cloud, and tech contracting.
• Strong commercial, technology, and business acumen.
• Fluent English.
• Good knowledge of privacy matters, including GDPR.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multicultural, international, remote team.
• Curiosity about hirify.global’s products, culture, and business model, plus willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Interest in AI tooling, AI product features, and legal developments relating to AI.
• Ability to build relationships with sales teams, take ownership, ask questions, and balance company risk with customer needs.

Nice to have

• Additional legal qualifications in other EMEA jurisdictions, particularly the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, France, Italy, or Spain.
• Knowledge or experience in other legal areas.
• Experience with public-sector customers, public procurement, or financial institutions.
• Additional languages.
