Software Engineer II (AI)

Salary: HUF 1.2M–HUF 1.8M per month

What you will do

• Build and maintain Canvas video processing, transcription, accessibility pipelines, and interactive analytics services.
• Develop custom Claude skills, autonomous development workflows, and tool integrations for repetitive engineering tasks, synthetic test data, and PR review acceleration.
• Architect highly available AWS services for media streaming and transcode queues at global scale.
• Integrate intelligent, AI-enhanced capabilities into Canvas in partnership with product and UX teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of enterprise engineering experience building, testing, and maintaining distributed web applications in production.
• Production experience with Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or LLM agentic toolchains, including custom skills, system prompts, automated refactoring pipelines, or autonomous agent loops.
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills with modern React experience building responsive, accessible, component-driven UIs.
• Practical Ruby on Rails experience, or strong proficiency in another modern MVC/backend framework with the ability to ramp up on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization, migrations, and indexing, plus enterprise AWS deployments.
• Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and infrastructure-as-code principles.

Nice to have

• Experience building developer tools, CLI utilities, or MCP servers that interface with LLM agents.
• Understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA for enterprise educational applications.
