Senior Software Engineer (AI Agents & Cloud Platform)

Location: Remote-first; applications are currently accepted from candidates residing in Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Cyprus, Malta, Finland, Sweden, Ireland, Moldova, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Ukraine.

Salary: €6,500–€9,000 gross per month, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Design and build AI assistant systems, including agent flows, context retrieval, and live Kubernetes infrastructure data connections.
• Build and evolve a public, permission-aware MCP server with curated tools, identity, auditing, and safety gates.
• Develop cloud connectivity and data foundations across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Write production Go services integrating cloud provider APIs, Kubernetes, and LLM APIs.
• Own features from design through implementation, testing, rollout, and on-call support; most projects ship within 1–4 weeks.
• Build evaluation, telemetry, and feedback systems and contribute to product direction and backlog.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, clean abstractions, maintainable code, and the ability to justify architecture decisions.
• Generalist capability across distributed-system debugging, authorization-flow design, and agent behavior tuning.
• Production experience with Go is strongly preferred; candidates without Go must demonstrate strong systems programming skills in a comparable language.
• Experience building or operating large-scale SaaS platforms in production, including multi-tenant systems, high volumes, and scale-related failure modes.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, including autoscaling, scheduling, and networking.
• Personal ownership of a complex project from end to end.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and agentic development workflows.
• Production experience with observability tooling, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Strong written and verbal English skills; adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Shipped agentic systems such as MCP servers or clients, agent gateways, tool-use orchestration, RAG pipelines, or evaluation frameworks.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including IAM, compute, networking, and provider APIs.
• Experience with LLM application evaluations, prompt engineering at scale, and agent-loop latency and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0/OIDC and multi-tenant authorization design.
• Deep knowledge of EKS, GKE, or AKS internals.
• Kubernetes or cloud-native open-source contributions.
