Senior AI Engineer

Location: Berlin, Germany; work from home may be arranged individually, including up to 20 days per year anywhere in the EU.

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve scalable machine learning and generative AI systems for customer-facing and operational use cases.
• Develop end-to-end pipelines for AI training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders to embed AI into digital healthcare systems and operations.
• Explore and implement new AI advancements to improve solution effectiveness and innovation.
• Act as AI Technical Owner, shaping technical roadmaps and driving the full AI lifecycle across strategic initiatives.
• Apply governance, experimentation, model quality, versioning, observability, and compliance practices in a regulated environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience building production-grade machine learning and generative AI solutions.
• Focus on production-ready systems and reliable real-world implementation.
• Interest in working at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and business impact.
• Ownership and curiosity, with a drive to explore new AI innovations.
