Senior Applied AI Engineer

Location: Remote within Germany, Portugal, Romania, Spain, or the United Kingdom; CET -2/+2 time zone required

What you will do

• Architect and implement production-ready generative AI and LLM-based solutions across the product suite.
• Design and deploy agentic systems that automate workflows and perform multi-step tasks.
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines for interaction with legal documents and case files.
• Develop document understanding, document generation, and conversational AI features for lawyers.
• Implement evaluation, testing, and observability workflows to improve AI system reliability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to integrate AI into real product workflows and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience building and deploying generative AI systems in production.
• Strong experience with RAG architectures, including embeddings, retrieval, and ranking.
• Practical experience designing and deploying agentic systems or AI agents in production.
• Experience with LLM observability and evaluation tools such as LangSmith or Langfuse.
• Strong Python programming skills and solid software engineering practices.
• At least 4 years of professional AI experience and production deployment of RAG pipelines or agentic systems are required.
