Materials & Production Planner

Location: Foligno, Italy; willingness to travel required

Compensation range: €35,100–€43,900, with monthly salary payments and potential additional fixed annual payments and performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Monitor demand and production capacity, coordinate with Production and Customer Care, and create realistic delivery plans.
• Plan production workloads, issue purchase orders based on MRP recommendations, and manage inventory to reduce obsolete and slow-moving stock.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Warehouse teams to align delivery planning with Just-In-Time principles.
• Enter intercompany sales orders and operate customer supplier portals.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities, monitor supplier capacity and performance, and support Make-or-Buy decisions.
• Plan supply requirements for large-scale projects and manage production overloads and planning parameters.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Purchasing or Planning roles.
• English proficiency at a minimum B1 level.
• Strong communication, organizational, IT, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team while making autonomous decisions and delivering project objectives.
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to process improvement.
• Flexibility, resilience, adaptability to change, and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and confidence leading meetings and presentations.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations, company processes, certifications, and regulatory requirements is required.

Nice to have

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field.
• CIPS qualification.
