Technical Buyer (Photovoltaic)

What you will do

• Manage supply chain activities for goods, services, and subcontracting related to photovoltaic plants and energy efficiency projects.
• Lead procurement from supplier scouting and onboarding through RFQs, bid comparisons, purchase orders, and expediting.
• Define supplier onboarding processes based on technical capabilities and financial strength, and maintain the Vendor List.
• Draft tailored supply and subcontracting contracts with Legal support and monitor contractual terms, delivery schedules, and technical compliance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, the Procurement Manager, and strategic suppliers on project procurement requirements.
• Prepare and monitor project cost reporting, procurement budgets, supplier performance, delivery accuracy, and non-conformities.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience as a Technical Buyer in the energy sector, ideally involving utility-scale photovoltaic projects, plant engineering, and energy efficiency.
• Good knowledge of utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) photovoltaic plants.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Good command of English.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Good technical knowledge of the photovoltaic sector, including construction activities, critical supplies, key equipment and materials, and market pricing.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
