Director, Business Effectiveness - Capital Markets (AI)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a prioritized Capital Markets-wide pipeline of AI use cases, including requirements, benefits, delivery sizing, and prioritization.
• Prepare updates for senior executives on AI infrastructure progress and business value realization.
• Lead strategic growth initiatives and operational excellence programs aligned with organizational goals.
• Own and evolve governance frameworks for changes made by Front Office teams.
• Analyze internal processes, recommend data-driven improvements, streamline operations, and implement best practices.
• Prepare agendas, presentations, and written updates for senior executive, committee, and enterprise stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of financial services industry experience, specifically within Capital Markets, including knowledge of Capital Markets functions, operations, and products.
• Experience in business management, business effectiveness, and/or project management.
• Degree in Business, Commerce, or an equivalent field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, judgment, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and change-implementation skills.
• Ability to build and leverage relationships with employees at all organizational levels and internal or external business partners.
• Self-starter with ownership, results orientation, ability to work independently, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to establish processes where none exist and improve process efficiency and effectiveness in ambiguous environments.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
