Student Engineering Intern – Water Resources

Location: Denver, CO, United States; work in the Denver office

Salary: $22–$26 per hour, depending on education and experience

What you will do

• Support planning, design, and construction of water resources engineering projects.
• Contribute to stormwater, water and wastewater, and regulatory compliance projects.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, calculations, and design.
• Prepare reports, figures, and technical documents.
• Use AutoCAD and GIS for drafting and analysis.
• Participate in field work, construction oversight, client meetings, and interdisciplinary work with environmental science staff.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or water resources engineering.
• Junior or senior students and recent graduates within one year are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge, experience, or coursework in AutoCAD or similar software and/or GIS.
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform field work.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills, especially spreadsheet use.
