Senior Software Engineer (AI)

hirify.global builds AI systems and products for defense and intelligence missions, supporting operational units and national security objectives.

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship a data collection and search platform using TypeScript, React, Tailwind, and Node.js.
• Develop applications and workflows for information distillation, analysis, visualization, and situational awareness.
• Implement and maintain search and agentic AI systems for high-scale tabular and graph-shaped data.
• Partner with customers, mission owners, designers, engineers, subject matter experts, and operational users to improve workflows and product solutions.
• Help define and shape the future of the Decision Advantage product.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, and AWS.
• Strong customer focus and product intuition, with an ability to think in workflows and end-user experience rather than only code.
• Experienced full-stack engineering capability across data extraction and ingestion, backend storage and indexing, APIs, frontend development, and AI analysis.

Nice to have

• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Desire to travel to visit users, collect feedback, and debug issues.
• Prior experience developing AI-native products.
• Prior experience in a user-facing product role.
