Salary: $150,000–$170,000 USD per year.

Company

hirify.global develops and deploys autonomous vehicles and mobility services using Multi-Policy Decision Making technology to improve transit access, safety, and sustainability.

What you will do

  • Lead integration testing across the autonomy stack, coordinate software deliveries, and own the end-to-end integration process.
  • Maintain a stable integration branch by managing merge requests, resolving conflicts, and enforcing branch hygiene across a large codebase.
  • Design and maintain automated test pipelines and CI/CD infrastructure for continuous integration of autonomy software.
  • Run simulation-based testing campaigns and plan on-vehicle tests across real-world scenarios and operating conditions.
  • Track autonomy-system performance metrics and KPIs, produce system-health reports, and investigate integration failures and regressions.
  • Partner with perception, planning, and controls teams on subsystem interfaces, integration risks, delivery timing, targeted features, and bug fixes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a mathematically or engineering-focused field such as physics, aerospace engineering, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of industry experience working on real-world autonomous vehicle or robotic systems.
  • Experience with system-level integration testing, including simulation and hardware-in-the-loop or on-vehicle validation.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks.
  • Familiarity with git-based workflows, including branch management, merge request review, and conflict resolution in large codebases.
  • Expertise in software development in a Linux environment.
  • Systems-level understanding of autonomous vehicle or robotic software architecture, including perception, planning, and controls interactions.
  • Ability to design meaningful simulation test scenarios, analyze quantitative performance data, make testing decisions with incomplete information, communicate findings clearly, and manage cross-team dependencies.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with AV or robotics simulation platforms such as Simian, CARLA, Gazebo, or similar.
  • Familiarity with behavior planning, prediction, perception, or controls sufficient to diagnose cross-subsystem integration issues.
  • Experience developing performance dashboards, data visualizations, or automated reporting tools.
  • Background in ADAS development or safety-critical software validation.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hybrid work from home or an alternative workspace and from company offices or sites on an agreed cadence.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, with eligibility for qualifying domestic partners.
  • Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, plus retirement benefits with an immediately vested employer safe harbor match.
  • Paid parental leave with phased return to work, flexible vacation, and paid company holidays.
  • Total Wellness Program and an inclusive, equal-opportunity workplace.
