Data Operations Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, US; work across multiple time zones in a hybrid or remote work environment

Annual US base salary: $120,000–$135,000

What you will do

• Execute and monitor production data and data exchange processes for internal and external customers.
• Follow daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly standard operating procedures, and assist with creating or refining SOPs.
• Monitor production jobs and issue resolution progress, troubleshoot problems, and communicate results or incidents according to team standards.
• Balance incoming requests with scheduled work while shifting between clients and processes to meet production needs.
• Support outage resolution, post-weekend patch validation, rollover activities, and projects.
• Answer questions, provide information, and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Five or more years of related experience, typically covering at least two areas such as healthcare information technology, healthcare economics, healthcare policy, statistical modeling, business decisions, analysis, or business management.
• Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Intermediate SQL Server/Transact-SQL skills and experience with MS SQL, Oracle, and Control-M.
• Ability to monitor Control-M jobs, analyze issues, and order jobs when required.
• Ability to work independently, direct the efforts of others, collaborate in a team environment, and communicate with employees and clients at all levels.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift model.
• Continuous learning is required; candidates may be required to complete a pre-employment criminal background check.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, particularly on a healthcare claims platform.
• Certification or progress toward certification.
