Senior Development Project Manager, Mission Critical, Project & Development Services

Location: Remote in the United States; Washington, District of Columbia

Salary: $148,750–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop project strategies, charters, execution plans, and master schedules with directors, clients, and project teams.
• Manage project cost, schedule, risk, scope, resources, contractors, and performance through construction completion and qualification.
• Coordinate design implementation, procurement, construction, operational readiness, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Prepare RFQs and RFPs, review subcontractor proposals and pricing, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.
• Review, validate, and audit contractor cost estimates and track project performance against the critical path.
• Lead client-facing meetings, support business development, and mentor or lead project team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10 or more years of related experience, including required construction industry experience.
• Advanced project management skills and demonstrated understanding of project management business practices.
• Experience in client relations, client management, contract negotiations, and consulting.
• Strong analytical, complex problem-solving, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings and construction concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to support or lead business development initiatives and lead or manage project teams and staff.

• Additional experience in life sciences or high-tech manufacturing.
