Elec - Junior / Expert Electronics Hardware Skills (m/f/d) (Power Electronics)

What you will do

• Work in the Power Electronics & Controls Electronics development team in Regensburg and collaborate with teams in Istanbul and Warsaw.
• Develop power electronics for industrial and automotive applications, focusing on DC-DC converters, onboard charging, or power inverters.
• Develop circuits and schematics, power and gate board layouts, DC-link designs, and thermal/mechanical elements.
• Support testing of electronic prototypes across ongoing programs.

Requirements

• PhD, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a similar field.
• Hands-on experience with PLECS, LTspice, and Altium.
• Good understanding of power electronics and related component trends.
• Good understanding and experience implementing Silicon Carbide and IGBT technologies for 1200 V/2.3 kV, 3.3 kV, and higher blocking voltages.
• Experience with auxiliary power supplies for gate drivers in power electronics products.
• Analytical and conceptual capabilities.
• Good English and German language skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of grid-tied power electronics for high-voltage and medium-voltage operation.
