Location: Germany; listed locations include Erlangen and Frankfurt am Main. Flexible and remote work options are available. Travel up to 5% is required for vendor, client-office, and project-site engagements.

What you will do

• Execute electrical engineering activities for international gas and steam turbine power plant projects.
• Use COMOS and plant design software to generate single-line diagrams, interconnection diagrams, circuit manuals, and cable and termination data.
• Collaborate with suppliers on wiring drawings, schematics, data sheets, and project-compliant documentation.
• Define component requirements and design electrical auxiliaries for turbines and generators during project execution.
• Prepare equipment specifications and procurement documents, evaluate vendor bids, and participate in technical discussions and factory acceptance tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, a related field, or equivalent energy-engineering experience.
• Basic knowledge of gas and steam turbine power plants, electrical-system engineering, and project execution.
• Basic knowledge of COMOS, plant design software, and TIA Portal.
• Knowledge of LV/MV switchgears, battery chargers, cables and cable raceway systems, PCCs, E-Houses, generator and transformer protection, synchronization, static excitation systems, starting frequency converters, and LV transformers is advantageous.
• Creativity, teamwork skills, and an open personality.
• Very good communication skills and proficiency in both German and English are required.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% is required.
