Platform Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain platform applications and components across on-premises and SaaS environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code using modern engineering practices.
• Participate in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and cloud deployments.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, and security while collaborating with engineering, product, support, and customer-facing teams.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues, performance challenges, and production defects across multiple projects and technical domains.
• Use AI tools for development, troubleshooting, code reviews, documentation, and learning while balancing platform investments with customer needs.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Experience with Customer Switching.
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET.
• Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, clean architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with HTTP-based standards such as OData.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar, with the ability to maintain code quality and security.
• Upper-intermediate or higher spoken and written English required.

Nice to have

• Client-side or frontend development experience.
• Experience building and operating cloud-based systems, preferably with Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes including AKS or Azure Container Apps, and Helm.
