Application Owner (Fintech)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid, with the possibility of working from home 2 days per week

Salary: €60,000–€75,000/month

What you will do

• Own one or more complex internal applications, including configuration, access, integrations, documentation, costs, providers, and operational performance.
• Optimise application usage and workflows, identify improvements, evaluate alternatives, and lead implementation or migration decisions.
• Lead cross-functional projects by managing priorities, dependencies, risks, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Drive operational improvements while balancing quality, scalability, speed, cost, and risk.
• Define KPIs, analyse performance, measure impact, and use evidence to recommend priorities.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and organisational change, communicating clearly and securing adoption across Operations.

Requirements

• Experience owning or administering operational tools, workflow platforms, automation tools, case-management systems, or other business-critical applications.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects involving operational users and technical or external stakeholders.
• Ability to translate user needs and operational problems into clear requirements, configurations, process improvements, or implementation plans.
• Ability to use data and operational metrics to evaluate problems, prioritise work, and measure improvement impact.
• Comfort working with external providers on feature requests, service issues, QBRs, pricing, renewals, or contracts.
• Comfort working in a regulated, technical, or operationally complex environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or a similar environment.
