Senior Product Manager - Financial Services Ops (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain or Paris, France.

What you will do

• Define the platform strategy and roadmap for Financial Services Ops, balancing business goals and regulatory obligations.
• Consolidate Compliance, Operations, Legal, and Financial Services requests into one intake process and prioritised backlog.
• Rebuild company onboarding and KYC workflows to reduce activation time, improve document completion, and remove manual rework.
• Lead the transaction monitoring system migration with Engineering and Compliance.
• Build back-office tools, case management workflows, dashboards, risk controls, and fraud signals that help Operations scale.
• Define operational metrics and evaluate identity verification, monitoring, and infrastructure vendors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in fintech, payments, banking, or another regulated environment.
• Experience building products for internal users, including back-office, operations tooling, platform, or infrastructure products.
• Familiarity with regulation, including PSD2, AML directives, compliance policies, and discussions with an MLRO.
• Ability to define success metrics, instrument previously unmeasured areas, and use evidence to prioritise.
• Clear communication skills for explaining regulation, building trust with Compliance, Operations, and Engineering, and negotiating scope.
• Resilience and effectiveness in changing environments with ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with KYC, KYB, AML, or transaction monitoring.
• Experience owning onboarding or identity verification flows with measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading vendor migrations or infrastructure integrations, such as BaaS, card processor, or monitoring provider integrations.
• Experience across EU, UK, and US regulatory contexts.
• Fluency in French or Spanish.
