Systems and Hardware Enabling Engineer (AI)

Location: Gdansk, Poland; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned Intel site and off-site work.

Annual salary: PLN 137,700–247,860.

What you will do

• Enable new preproduction computer platforms, including discrete and integrated graphics and AI hardware, for validation teams.
• Modify and service computer platforms through electronic analysis, firmware troubleshooting, soldering, hardware and mechanical modifications.
• Support AI PCs, discrete and integrated graphics, and AI hardware.
• Clear technical roadblocks and solve complex technical, electronic, and scripting challenges.
• Work with global teams to maintain healthy hardware and systems.
• Improve tools and scripts supporting validation of Intel graphics and AI cores.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of hardware and personal computer architecture.
• At least 2 years of experience setting up, configuring, maintaining, validating, and troubleshooting computer hardware, including hardware programming and failure analysis.
• Ability to solder components on printed circuit boards.
• Ability to read technical and electronic documentation.
• Knowledge of hardware assembly, assembly-line procedures, and system enabling for validation processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with PowerBI, JIRA, ServiceNow, and Odoo.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Nice to have

• Interest in data analytics and visualization using programming languages or tools.
• Experience cooperating with global teams and local leads on efficient processes, tool configuration, and system troubleshooting coordination.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting data with MS Office.
• Extensive computer hardware debugging experience.
• Experience analyzing and recovering electronic circuits.
• Advanced BGA soldering experience on printed circuit boards.
• Python programming and scripting skills.
