AI Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: Warsaw, Cracow, Wroclaw, Bialystok, or remote from these locations; work is available from modern offices, coworking spaces, or remotely.

Salary: Mid-level 12,600–19,320 PLN monthly on B2B; Senior 19,320–25,200 PLN monthly on B2B.

What you will do

• Support the development of scalable AI systems, including LLM and GenAI solutions, under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Transform Data Science prototypes into production-ready solutions.
• Build and enhance Python backend components with frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Develop AI systems that process technical and automotive documents, extract information, identify relationships, and generate structured knowledge graphs.
• Deploy and maintain solutions in AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments.
• Ensure code quality and apply sound software engineering practices.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience with Python.
• Strong Python programming skills, including clean code and object-oriented design.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models and Generative AI.
• Solid understanding of software design principles.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI and SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and basic CI/CD concepts.
• Practical experience working in a cloud environment using AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Nice to have

• A personal project or practical experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Node, Nest, or TypeScript.
• Practical experience and strong interest in Data Science and Machine Learning.
• Interest in Generative AI trends, including Intelligent Document Processing, embeddings, vector databases, and open-source LLMs.
