Data Analytics Consultant (Python/SQL)

What you will do

• Support stakeholders and departments in making data-driven decisions across marketing, product, customer, sales, and logistics areas.
• Gather requirements, process large-scale real-time data from diverse backend and frontend systems, and produce actionable insights and recommendations.
• Design, develop, and extend scalable data model layers for analytics calculations and visualizations.
• Write maintainable code aligned with internal standards and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to deliver integrated data solutions.
• Prototype and coordinate data visualizations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an analytical role handling large volumes of data, preferably in marketing, logistics, customer, or sales domains.
• Strong proficiency in Python/PySpark for data analysis, SQL for data processing, and Bash scripting for Git repository management.
• Understanding of data warehousing, including dimensional data modeling and ETL/ELT processes.
• Ability to translate business needs into data models and implement complex data-driven solutions.
• Strong understanding of real-time data and the ability to request and handle data from internal and external backend and frontend systems.
• Ability to derive actionable conclusions from complex data and communicate recommendations clearly to business stakeholders.
• Self-management, independent working ability, and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Ability to read or communicate in French.
• Experience with Apache Spark in Databricks.
• Familiarity with GCP, Azure, or AWS data platforms.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow or dbt.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
• Experience working in a highly agile and iterative environment.
