Senior Data & Analytics Specialist (Snowflake/Power BI)

What you will do

• Design dimensional and enterprise data models, including star schemas, fact and dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions, surrogate keys, and data marts.
• Build and tune Snowflake structures with attention to architecture, performance, and role-based access control.
• Build and optimize Power BI semantic models with DAX and Power Query, and develop or migrate enterprise-grade reports connected to a cloud data warehouse.
• Improve existing dashboards and propose new dashboards based on supply chain data and business needs.
• Build and monitor production data integration pipelines using Python, Azure Data Factory, and standardized ingestion frameworks.
• Gather requirements, lead workshops, validate solutions with client management and product leadership, and deliver in agile team ceremonies.

Requirements

• Fluent English at B2–C1 level, verbally and in writing, for global interaction.
• Proven experience designing dimensional and enterprise data models, including star schema, fact and dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions, surrogate keys, and data marts.
• Hands-on Snowflake development, including architecture, performance tuning, role-based access control, and end-to-end implementations.
• Proven experience building and optimizing Power BI semantic models, using DAX and Power Query, and developing enterprise-grade reports connected to a cloud data warehouse.
• Hands-on production experience with data integration pipelines, preferably Azure Data Factory; equivalent experience with other cloud platforms is considered, along with familiarity with standardized ingestion frameworks.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for pipelines and automation.
• Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders on requirements gathering, workshops, co-creation, and solution validation.
• Solid experience working in agile teams and participating in agile ceremonies.

Nice to have

• DevOps practices, including Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD for database change promotion.
• Understanding of SAP data structures and extraction patterns.
• Experience in the CPG industry, especially with supply chain data.
• Experience with sell-in, sell-out, retail, or market research data.
• SnowPro Core or Advanced and Azure Data Engineer Associate certifications.
• Conversational Spanish for LATAM interaction.
