BMC Firmware Program Manager for AI Servers

Location: Hybrid in Spring, Texas, United States; an average of 2 days per week must be worked from an HPE office.

Salary: USD 123,500–285,000 annual base salary in Texas; variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Manage and lead a multi-function, multi-project program for the engineering development and implementation of AI server products.
• Develop schedules, critical deliverables, budgets, resource allocation plans, and other program requirements.
• Coordinate supporting project teams, internal development partners, manufacturing, and external partners while tracking progress and adjusting plans.
• Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders and management.
• Recommend and implement product, process, and business-practice changes to resolve issues and meet roadmaps, schedules, and budgets.
• Drive innovation and quality initiatives, while mentoring less-experienced staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or an equivalent qualification.
• Typically 6–10 years of experience, including technical program management experience; firmware experience, preferably with UEFI or BMC firmware.
• Extensive experience using project and program planning tools and software to create, manage, and track results.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Business acumen and successful experience managing programs, stakeholders, matrixed teams, and resources.
• Mastery of English and the local language.
• Ability to communicate plans, proposals, and results and negotiate options with senior management.

Nice to have

• Background in server technology.
• Background in UEFI or BMC firmware development or validation.
• Experience working with external partners such as ODMs.
• PMP/PMI certification.
