Program Manager (Educational Assessment)

Location: Remote-first work environment; Central Time Zone business hours preferred. Travel required 4–5 times per year for 2–4 days per trip.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, confirm deliverable status, track dependencies, and keep project updates accurate.
• Coordinate milestones across internal teams and partner vendors in line with program schedules and contract requirements.
• Identify and assess scope and schedule risks, develop mitigation plans, track risks through resolution, and escalate issues with recommended next steps.
• Manage change requests, decision logs, approval tracking, and implementation of approved scope changes.
• Coordinate routine client communications, facilitate internal and client meetings, and track action items through completion.
• Prepare status reports, coordinate customer-facing materials, and contribute to lessons learned and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving and multitasking abilities, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and exceptional work ethic.
• Familiarity with project risk management, change control, and establishing a baseline schedule.
• Ability to travel 4–5 times per year for 2–4 days per trip.

Nice to have

• PMP certification is highly encouraged.
• Experience working in large-scale assessment.
• Experience with Smartsheet and Excel.
• Ability to work during Central Time Zone business hours.
