Technical Recruiter (Aerospace)

Location: San Francisco headquarters; in-office five days a week

Salary: $180K–$230K annually

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for specialized engineers in propulsion, test, and manufacturing, as well as senior technical leaders.
• Develop unconventional sourcing strategies, map talent ecosystems, uncover hidden networks, and engage passive candidates.
• Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to define exceptional talent profiles and hiring strategies.
• Build authentic relationships and deliver personalized, white-glove candidate experiences.
• Identify inefficiencies, experiment with new approaches, and build scalable recruiting systems.
• Assess talent rigorously, challenge assumptions, and craft individualized approaches to close difficult searches.

Requirements

• 8+ years of recruiting experience, including a track record of hiring exceptional technical talent in fast-growing startups, deep-tech, aerospace, or hardware engineering environments.
• Demonstrated success identifying, engaging, and closing rare technical talent in competitive or highly specialized markets.
• Creative, unconventional sourcing and problem-solving skills, with examples of searches conducted beyond traditional recruiting methods.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to build better processes, tools, and ways of working.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, exercise independent judgment, and deliver results with minimal direction.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with technical candidates, engineering leaders, and executives.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a highly personalized candidate experience.
• High standards of excellence, strong ownership, willingness to challenge conventional wisdom, experiment, and continuously improve.
• Genuine curiosity about aerospace, aviation, and engineering challenges.
