Senior Technical Recruiter (Nuclear Energy)

Location: Fully on-site at the headquarters in Torrance, California; based in or willing to relocate to Torrance, CA.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for critical engineering, manufacturing, and other specialized technical roles.
• Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to define target talent, role requirements, interview plans, and hiring criteria.
• Develop creative sourcing and engagement strategies for top-tier technical and passive candidates, and close searches in competitive markets.
• Advise hiring managers and interview teams while driving an efficient, high-quality process from outreach through offer close.
• Improve recruiting funnels and equitable interview processes, research new tools, and monitor technology trends and competitive market data.
• Advocate for an excellent candidate experience and support diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting.
• Proven success hiring for engineering or other highly technical roles, including sourcing passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
• Strong ability to assess candidate quality and alignment beyond resumes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience improving or streamlining recruiting or operational processes.
• Strong ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to high talent standards.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Torrance, California.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder).

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Recruiting experience in aerospace, defense, energy, robotics, or hardware-focused companies.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, nuclear, manufacturing, or systems engineering roles.
• Experience in a high-growth or startup environment.
• Experience using Greenhouse or a similar ATS.
• Data-driven recruiting experience, including pipeline tracking and reporting.
