Senior Manager PR and Communications APAC (Web3)

Location: Australia; Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Candidates based in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia are encouraged to apply; remote arrangements may also be considered in selected APAC locations.

OKX is hiring for its APAC communications and media relations function.

What you will do

• Support the APAC communications strategy and deliver PR campaigns across key regional markets.
• Build relationships with journalists, editors and influential industry voices across APAC, especially in Australia and Singapore, and secure coverage in business, financial, broadcast, technology and crypto media.
• Manage communications for product launches, business announcements, partnerships, executive thought leadership and international campaigns adapted for APAC audiences.
• Prepare press releases, media pitches, executive briefings, talking points, messaging and other communications content.
• Support executives with media interviews, speaking opportunities and thought leadership activities while coordinating regional stakeholders and external partners.
• Manage PR agencies, issues management and crisis communications; monitor coverage and report on reputation and business impact.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in PR and communications, ideally in financial services, fintech or technology.
• Strong, established media relationships across APAC, particularly in Australia and Singapore, plus connections with global tier-one business, financial and broadcast media covering the region.
• Demonstrated success securing high-quality coverage in international and regional publications and delivering impactful PR campaigns.
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, including the ability to translate complex business and technical developments into clear narratives.
• Experience with product launches, corporate announcements, executive communications and thought leadership initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial and independent working style, with strong project management and organizational skills across multiple markets.
• Experience managing PR agencies and external communications partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• Fluent English.

• Experience in financial and investment communications.
• Experience in cryptocurrency, digital assets or Web3, or a genuine passion for the industry.
• Proficiency in other regional languages.
