Program Manager, National Security - DHS

Location: United States; Remote. The role requires travel up to 50% to DHS field locations, border sectors, and event sites.

Annual base salary: $145,000–$175,000.

What you will do

• Own assigned DHS accounts from contract award through delivery, onboarding, enablement, adoption, renewals, and expansion.
• Manage delivery of hirify.global systems and accessories, including contract scope, deliverables, compliance, shipping issues, support cases, and RMAs.
• Coordinate pilot, operator, and administrator training and equip customers with documentation, support contacts, spares, maintenance plans, and repeatable operating playbooks.
• Track purchased, deployed, and operational systems and help integrate hirify.global into ISR and mission workflows.
• Run program reviews and QBRs, monitor account health, maintain Salesforce and portfolio reporting, and lead renewal readiness.
• Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Deployment, Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Support, Training, and Field Support to resolve risks, capture product gaps, and identify expansion opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing programs, strategic accounts, or technology fielding within DHS, the Department of War, or the defense and homeland security technology industry.
• Direct experience supporting USSS, CBP, or other DHS components, including knowledge of their missions, operating environments, and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with UAS and autonomous systems operations, including ISR missions.
• Experience taking complex hardware and software systems from contract award to sustained operational use.
• Working knowledge of federal acquisition and contract structures, including FAR, IDIQ, BPA, and GSA Schedule, and experience delivering against contract requirements.
• Experience driving adoption, renewals, and expansion by aligning products with mission needs and field realities.
• Experience managing multiple accounts while balancing customer expectations, technical constraints, and business priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive updates and technical discussions with operators and engineers; able to work independently with high ownership.
• Ability to pass a DHS background investigation and hold US citizenship.
• Employment-based visa or permanent residency sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Prior service with USSS, CBP, or other federal law enforcement or homeland security agencies.
• Hands-on sUAS pilot experience in ISR, law enforcement, or military operations.
• Experience with National Special Security Events, multi-agency operations, border security technology, physical security programs, or unmanned systems.
• Military service or prior government experience.
• PMP or similar program management certification.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
