What you will do

• Develop methods, systems, and processes to consolidate and analyze fab, defect, electrical, and other big data sources for defect-mode understanding and yield modeling.
• Perform statistical analysis, create visualizations, identify anomalies, and build process-development roadmaps supporting yield milestones.
• Develop multivariate algorithms, AI/ML applications, and computational tools to identify root-cause yield limiters, improve design efficiency, and reduce debug time.
• Collaborate with design teams and factory task forces on manufacturability, new product introductions, design-technology co-optimization, and design of experiments.
• Develop measurement recipes and harden systems for leading-edge logic nodes while working with equipment vendors and internal collaborators.
• Document technical procedures, train colleagues, and debug equipment, software, and procedural failures in production environments when required.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in a semiconductor science-related STEM field such as engineering, physical science, computer science, or a related discipline, plus 2+ years of experience in advanced semiconductor devices and process flow; or a master’s degree in a related semiconductor science STEM field plus 4+ years of that experience.
• Experience may be obtained through schoolwork, classes, research, relevant employment, or internships.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience with data analysis systems and software tools.
• 2+ years of experience with yield projection using EOL signals and in-line parameters.
• Project or program management experience, self-initiative, and self-learning capabilities.
• A proven ability to work across organizations in matrix structures and achieve strategic objectives amid conflicting priorities.
