Bilingual HR Business Partner - U.S. AutoForce Oakland/San Jose

Location: On-site at 33375 Central Ave, Union City, California, United States; oversees warehouses in Oakland, Union City, San Jose, and Sacramento. Overnight travel is expected every 4–6 weeks, with occasional travel typically 20–30% of the time.

Annual base salary starts at $88,000, excluding bonuses or incentives.

What you will do

• Administer and implement HR programs covering recruiting, compensation and benefits, performance management, team member relations, safety, and employment practices.
• Advise business leaders and supervisors on staffing, organizational structure, hiring decisions, employee relations, and safe work practices.
• Recruit for open positions through postings, job fairs, networking, candidate checks, and hiring recommendations.
• Support workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, wage and hour inquiries, OSHA, DOT, FMLA, USERRA, payroll, benefits, and career development matters.
• Lead investigations into harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, theft, and related issues, while monitoring legal and regulatory changes.
• Lead people resources projects in Workday, including upgrades, new functionality, user training, reporting, system maintenance, mergers, acquisitions, and relocations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of related HR experience; a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management is preferred.
• Knowledge of HR laws and the ability to apply company HR procedures across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of benefits, safety, compensation systems, team member relations, unemployment, and workers’ compensation.
• Knowledge of HRIS, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong integrity, confidentiality, organization, decision-making, prioritization, communication, listening, flexibility, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, collaborative organization where teamwork and relationships are critical.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test; THC/marijuana is not tested.
• Must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States and must not require hirify.global sponsorship.
