Sr. Manager, Customs & Trade Compliance (Automotive)

hirify.global operates in the medical and automotive manufacturing environment, with the role supporting customs and trade compliance across the US, Mexico, and Brazil.

What you will do

• Lead the US, Mexico, and Brazil Customs Team and report to the Global Head.
• Manage and further develop customs and trade compliance programs covering classifications, valuations, training, manuals, export controls, broker strategy, and foreign trade topics.
• Ensure compliance with Mexico’s IMMEX program and provide strategic support to mitigate customs costs, including Section 301 tariffs.
• Support global projects involving export controls and free trade agreements, and implement relevant legal changes.
• Advise on complex supply chains and strategic decisions.
• Support internal and external customs audits and self-assessments while managing stakeholders and customs brokers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Automotive customs experience.
• In-depth knowledge of US, Mexico, and Brazil customs and border protection regulations.
• Working knowledge of CBP portals and websites.

• Experience in manufacturing, purchasing, legal, or logistics.
