Trade & Transportation Specialist

Location: Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

• Manage local import/export operations within the Electrification Business.
• Act as the point of contact for customs brokers on valuation, product classification, and related clarifications.
• Audit customs brokers for accurate customs entries, invoicing, and archiving.
• Manage documentation and online forms required for lawful and cost-effective import/export execution.
• Maintain and share knowledge of import/export laws, procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Commerce, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics and transportation roles.
• Knowledge of foreign trade and CTPAT/IMMEX programs.
• Knowledge of audits and fixed-asset control.
• Experience managing virtual operations.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for logistics data analysis and reporting.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
