AI Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote across Canada; based in Toronto or another Canadian location, with travel as needed

Salary: CAD 115,000–140,000 base annually; CAD 132,000–161,000 total estimated compensation including annual incentive compensation

What you will do

• Design and build enterprise-ready full-stack applications supporting AI and analytics solutions.
• Develop reusable tools and frameworks, React-based interfaces, and Python backend services and APIs.
• Integrate AI workflows with data, external systems, and cloud environments including Azure and AWS.
• Implement secure authentication, data management, testing, monitoring, and production deployment practices.
• Operate in Agile sprints, leading planning, defining delivery criteria, running demos, and handing features off to production.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Platform Engineers, Solution Architects, client teams, and technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript, with Python backend development experience.
• Experience with Azure or AWS and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, secure development practices, Agile, and Scrum delivery.
• Hands-on use of agentic engineering tools and IDEs such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar in day-to-day delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, changing, and ambiguous environments and translate business workflows into technical solutions.
