Director, Product Management (Property and Financial Management Products, Asia Pacific)

Location: Sydney, Australia office; based in or willing to relocate to Sydney, with regular regional travel and collaboration across Australia and New Zealand time zones

What you will do

• Lead the APAC property management portfolio, including Strata Master, Palace, and Property Tree, with indirect responsibility for PMX.
• Define product strategy, investment cases, roadmaps, prioritization, and success metrics across products with different customer segments, maturity, and revenue importance.
• Lead, coach, and organize approximately seven product managers and product owners in a player-coach leadership role.
• Engage with strata managers, property managers, agency leaders, finance users, customers, partners, Sales, and regional teams to translate market insight into product direction.
• Guide cloud transition, workflow automation, AI-enabled experiences, integrations, and partner ecosystems across communications, banking, payments, trust accounting, and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional delivery and executive communication with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership of B2B SaaS, enterprise, or vertical market software.
• Proven experience leading product managers or product owners with distinct ownership areas and building or restructuring an organization as needs change.
• Experience defining strategy, roadmaps, and investment cases for mature, revenue-significant products while balancing retention, quality, growth, and modernization.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Sydney, Australia, with the ability to work across Australia and New Zealand time zones and travel regularly in the region.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Ability to lead a multi-product portfolio, make investment and prioritization decisions, coach product managers and product owners, and build a high-performing team.
• Ability to understand workflows across property administration, owner and tenant engagement, compliance, reporting, banking, and trust accounting.
• Strong commercial and modernization judgment, executive communication, and influence across regional and global teams.

Nice to have

• Domain experience in property management, strata, residential property, trust accounting, or accounting software, ideally in Australia and New Zealand.
• Familiarity with regional regulatory, banking, and payments considerations, cloud transition, or legacy modernization for established products.
• MBA or advanced degree.
• Product management, technology, accounting, real estate, or agile certifications.
