Financial Analyst – Trade Spend and Post Audit Claims

Location: Hybrid in Brampton, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $71,596–$110,257 for non-sales roles or $73,043–$112,487 for sales roles.

What you will do

• Manage more than $2 million in annual customer post-audit claims, including validation, classification, reconciliation, dispute resolution, and deduction clearing.
• Assess claims against customer agreements and supporting documentation, route valid claims to Sales, and manage disputes for invalid claims.
• Maintain claims tracking, analyze deduction trends and recovery rates, and identify risks and recovery opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Teams, and third-party recovery partners to support claim resolution, negotiations, and trade spend activities.
• Prepare trade deduction reporting, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance investigations, and supporting documentation for month-end and quarter-end close.
• Strengthen controls and contribute to future-state processes that improve efficiency, data integrity, compliance, and trade management capabilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working directly with major customers and managing customer deductions.
• Strong understanding of customer operations, deduction processes, and claim resolution requirements.
• Experience with HighRadius, Exceedra, SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI is an asset but not mandatory.
