Manager - CX Microsoft Engineering

Location: US - TX - Home Office; hybrid work, with up to 20% travel and flexible hours.

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 annual pay range, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor the software development or engineering team, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and retention.
• Define and communicate the technical vision and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement new software features and modifications to existing software.
• Collaborate with product, sales, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to align projects and achieve goals.
• Implement software development best practices, conduct code reviews, and ensure released code meets agreed quality standards.
• Drive process improvements, automation, Agile ceremonies, technical guidance, issue resolution, and accurate engineering deadline management.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role and 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Expertise in cloud-based platforms and services for building, deploying, and managing applications and data on the internet.
• Expertise in DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
• Expert proficiency in SQL for relational database management, including querying, updating, and data retrieval and manipulation.
• Expert understanding of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and coding through testing and deployment.
• Expert proficiency in facilitating Agile Scrum practices and guiding teams through the Scrum framework.
• Experience with C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, RESTful services, relational databases, automation, and infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to travel 20% and work flexible hours.
