What you will do

• Drive implementation of automated workflows supporting bioanalytical assay development and execution.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and operate automated methods using Hamilton, Echo (Labcyte), and GBG platforms.
• Program and operate liquid handlers, dispensers, washers, centrifuges, and related laboratory instrumentation.
• Generate, analyze, and interpret scientific data from automated platforms.
• Identify and resolve technical issues independently while collaborating across scientific, engineering, and software-focused teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation Sciences, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Scientific expertise with laboratory equipment used in developing and executing bioanalytical assays.
• Hands-on experience with Hamilton, Echo (Labcyte), and GBG platforms, including method development, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operation of automated workflows.
• Experience programming and operating automated laboratory equipment, including liquid handlers, dispensers, washers, centrifuges, and related instrumentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently identify and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret scientific data produced on automated platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including effective work across scientific, engineering, and software-focused teams.
• Ability to work self-sufficiently and become productive quickly with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating robotic system schedulers such as HighRes Biosolutions, Biosero, or Thermo Momentum.
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or laboratory experience.
• Experience implementing novel automation workflows and authoring operational SOPs.
• Familiarity with VB, C#, LabVIEW, or equivalent programming languages.
• Electro-mechanical design and assembly skills.
• Experience using electronic laboratory notebooks.
