Procurement Category Lead (AI & Crypto Data Center Construction)

Location: Austin, TX / Massillon, OH, US; preference for candidates local to Central Texas, with regular travel to Rockdale, TX and periodic travel to Reno, NV.

What you will do

• Develop and execute proactive, total-cost-of-ownership-driven sourcing strategies for construction services and operations.
• Lead or participate in bidding, negotiations, contract management, and supplier partnership development.
• Independently manage RFPs, including vendor identification, bid leveling, and commercial comparisons.
• Draft and negotiate Statements of Work and amendments aligned with Master Service Agreements.
• Act as the primary procurement contact for assigned sites, attending project reviews and coordinating with site, project, engineering, and external stakeholders.
• Manage requisition-to-purchase and procure-to-pay workflows, sourcing records, order tracking, and work completion through closure.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a similar field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related analytical role such as Finance or Operations.
• Strong professional presence and ability to handle challenging, confrontational situations.
• Ability to read a bill of materials and distinguish critical infrastructure components such as UPS and PDU.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Ability to work with the assigned US sites and travel regularly to Rockdale, TX and periodically to Reno, NV.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL or Tableau, particularly in technology-focused companies.
