Procurement Expeditor (Utility-Scale Solar PV)

What you will do

• Track, expedite, and coordinate delivery of major equipment and bulk materials for utility-scale solar PV projects, including PV modules, inverters, trackers, transformers, switchgear, and cable.
• Maintain material status logs, expediting schedules, and critical-path delivery tracking from factory fabrication through site delivery.
• Conduct vendor shop visits, manufacturing milestone audits, and factory testing tracking to keep OEM production schedules on track.
• Coordinate with EPC logistics leads, freight forwarders, port authorities, and carriers on customs clearance, shipping delays, and delivery sequencing.
• Resolve purchase-order revisions, change orders, delivery exceptions, freight damage claims, and supplier performance issues; assess lead times, supply-chain risks, and delay impacts.
• Track factory acceptance testing, quality documentation, material test reports, certificates of conformance, site receiving, OS&D reports, supplier KPIs, and transportation contingency plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Up to 7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or equipment expediting within capital construction projects.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships, resolve delivery bottlenecks, and enforce purchase-order milestone schedules under fast-track construction timelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with utility-scale solar PV and/or battery energy storage system equipment procurement and expediting.
• Experience working within an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction execution model on large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure programs.
• Experience tracking tier-1 solar modules, central or string inverters, tracker systems, and main power transformers.
• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, Primavera P6, Procore, or specialized logistics tracking tools.
• Knowledge of international and domestic freight logistics, port customs clearance, heavy-haul transportation, and laydown yard management.
