Lead Procurement Analyst

Location: Fort Worth, TX, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Lead one or more procurement categories within a functional area and execute mid-term category plans.
• Develop sourcing strategies, analyze markets, evaluate suppliers, and manage supplier selection.
• Negotiate, create, execute, and analyze vendor contracts, including amendments and risk controls.
• Manage vendor and business-partner relationships, service delivery, supplier risk, and category performance.
• Design procurement processes and support operations including purchasing, invoicing, P2P processes, procurement systems, and related services.
• Lead improvement projects, recommend actions to management, and drive efficiency, savings, and controllership improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of procurement experience, including vendor negotiation, and experience with Oracle or other procurement software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a closely related business field.
• Proven year-over-year growth within managed categories and experience setting direction, monitoring results, assigning projects, and maintaining delivery standards.
• Advanced or expert negotiation skills, including savings, cost avoidance, recovery, supplier rationalization, and demand optimization.
• Advanced or expert ability to develop short- and long-term category or sub-category strategies and derive supply-base decisions from market resources.
• Ability to manage business-partner and supplier relationships, define required services and outputs, and provide direction to GSMs, Specialists, and Analysts.
• Expert analytical, conceptual, communication, presentation, and business-model development skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, influence with senior management, ethical decision-making, organization, adaptability, and ability to work amid changing priorities and ambiguity.
• Ability to work effectively in an AI-enabled environment and maintain subject-matter expertise in a supply-chain specialty while developing a second specialty.
