Contract Student Worker - Autonomy and Geofence Expansion (20 hrs/wk) (AI)

What you will do

• Collect requirements for the Autonomy team.
• Use AI tools such as Claude and Cursor to curate datasets and build analysis tools.
• Analyze data and share insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant B.S. or M.S. program, such as engineering, statistics, or data science.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
• Available to work on-site in Foster City, California.
• Available for a minimum three-month assignment and at least 20 hours per week.
• Must comply with Zoox confidentiality requirements and must not use or share proprietary company information outside Zoox, including in academic research, theses, publications, or presentations.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in robotics or autonomy.
• PySpark or SQL experience.
