Senior Full-Stack Engineer (TypeScript/React)

Salary: USA Zone A: $172,400–$224,100 base salary annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate TypeScript/NestJS services for advertiser and publisher entities, owning APIs and data contracts used by advertising systems.
• Model relational data, manage migrations, and evolve schemas supporting ad serving, billing, and reporting.
• Build event-driven integrations with Kafka and Google Cloud Pub/Sub using transactional outbox and idempotent consumer patterns.
• Develop React and TypeScript interfaces that turn complex entity and performance data into reliable publisher and advertiser workflows.
• Operate services on Kubernetes, own service-level objectives, and improve observability through distributed tracing, metrics, and testing.
• Set development standards, conduct design and code reviews, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and operating production software, including deep backend and modern frontend experience.
• Advanced TypeScript and experience with NestJS or a comparable modular Node.js architecture using dependency injection.
• Strong data modeling and SQL skills, including schema design, migrations, performance optimization at scale, and safe changes to data consumed by other teams.
• Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or a comparable tool; understanding of delivery semantics, ordering, and idempotency.
• Advanced React skills, including component design, state management, and performance for data-intensive interfaces.
• Cloud-native operations experience with containerized Kubernetes services, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, incident response, and on-call availability.
• Strong ownership focused on correctness, observability, long-term maintainability, testing, code review, and accessibility.
• Sufficient English proficiency for frequent professional written and verbal communication with global colleagues and partners is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go.
• Background in advertising, attribution, billing, or monetization systems.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Kubernetes-native resource management, Terraform, or service meshes.
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing in production.
• Experience with design systems or configuration-driven UI frameworks.
• Experience with cross-team technical alignment or guild-style quality initiatives.
