Senior Android Engineer, Event Contracts (Fintech)

Location: New York City, NY office; in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Other compensation locations include Bellevue, WA; Menlo Park, CA; Washington, DC; Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL; Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; and Gainesville, FL.

Base pay: $196,000–$230,000 USD for Zone 1; $172,000–$202,000 USD for Zone 2; $153,000–$179,000 USD for Zone 3. Bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits are also available.

What you will do

• Build intuitive, stable mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
• Lead product features from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing, and release.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Champion engineering practices that improve code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and elevate team standards and collaboration.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience developing Android applications.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java, plus strong knowledge of the Android SDK and architecture patterns such as MVVM.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow or RxJava, and libraries including Retrofit and Room.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused mindset.
• Ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
