Executive Director, Global Markets Resource Optimization

Location: On-site full-time in Toronto, Canada

Annualized base salary: $180,000 CAD, plus participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

What you will do

• Establish and scale a centralized resource optimization function across Global Markets.
• Design frameworks for evaluating trade-offs, allocating resources, and supporting strategic business prioritization.
• Build reporting, analytics, dashboards, and data infrastructure covering resource usage, constraints, and returns.
• Drive system enhancements and automation to reduce manual work and improve data quality.
• Embed return-focused governance for capital, leverage, and funding allocation and identify performance opportunities across desks and activities.
• Partner with trading desks, Central Funding Group, Finance, Treasury, and Risk to improve coordination and adoption.

Requirements

• Strong Capital Markets experience across trading, treasury, or resource management.
• 10+ years of related experience in resource optimization, balance sheet management, or strategic resource allocation, including leadership of enterprise-wide initiatives and measurable outcomes.
• Understanding of capital, funding, and regulatory constraints and their impact on business decisions.
• Strong analytical experience developing reporting, analytics, and data-driven insights.
• Experience with large datasets, infrastructure initiatives, dashboard creation, and process automation.
• Collaborative leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change in a complex organization.
• Execution focus and adaptability in a build-out environment with evolving priorities.
• High standards, strong relationship skills, and alignment with hirify.global’s values.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
