Software Engineer II (AI)

Location: United States (Remote)

Salary: $95,000–$171,000 per year for US-based candidates; compensation outside the US varies.

What you will do

• Design, write, and automate code supporting products used by millions of users.
• Contribute to architecture focused on performance, scalability, availability, security, and resilience.
• Translate product specifications into reusable, maintainable designs and components.
• Review code and collaborate across teams to support engineering best practices and delivery.
• Debug complex production issues, handle escalations, and participate in on-call duties.
• Build automation tools and develop expertise in emerging AI technologies.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of full-stack software development experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and TypeScript, with Spring, Angular, and Flask.
• Strong foundation in SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
• Understanding of distributed systems, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins and AI code editors such as GitHub Copilot.
• Hands-on experience developing systems with AI models, RAG, and LangGraph or equivalent technologies.
• Familiarity with event-driven flows, load balancers, and message queues in production.
