Senior React Developer (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, ON; Toronto-81 Bay, 16th Floor. You must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit. The proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview.

hirify.global is a relationship-oriented bank building digital banking services for modern clients; the role supports Simplii Financial's technology team and its strategic business priorities.

What you will do

• Develop front-end code for client-facing web applications, including online banking services, application forms, online calculators, and financial planning tools.
• Define and extend the technical architecture for React and Vue.js single-page applications.
• Optimize and enhance web capabilities while delivering new features across multiple applications.
• Collaborate with user experience, quality assurance, business analysts, scrum masters, product owners, and development team members.
• Share coding practices, improve documentation and processes, and support team learning.
• Support technical documentation, accessibility and security compliance, project status reporting, and timeline delivery.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of solid hands-on React.js experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with React, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git branching strategies, responsive design, and code testing frameworks.
• Ability to meet web accessibility requirements and security protocols.
• Strong collaboration, communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
