Phoenix Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Consultant - 2027 (AI)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; hybrid work with in-person work in local hirify.global offices and on client sites, including possible local or out-of-state travel.

Salary: $72,000–$87,000 annually; bonus target: $2,000.

What you will do

• Collaborate with project teams to deliver internal audit and financial advisory solutions for clients across industries.
• Assess risks, analyze data, document observations, and communicate actionable insights.
• Evaluate business processes, controls, regulatory requirements, governance, security, and operational effectiveness.
• Support technology audit work involving cybersecurity, AI risk, data governance, cloud, privacy, software development, resilience, and technology governance.
• Apply AI-enabled analysis, data interrogation, audit methodology, automation, and data visualization to client engagements.
• Manage priorities, take ownership of assignments, and contribute to team and client outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Authorization to work in the United States for hirify.global without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Demonstrated proficiency applying AI tools to analytical and research tasks, such as Microsoft Copilot or GenAI.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements across industries.
• Technical proficiency aligned with the assigned capability area.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams, apply creativity and analytical thinking, interpret data, seek feedback, and contribute to meaningful outcomes.
• Strong academic background and drive toward obtaining professional certifications.
• Understanding of internal audit processes, emerging technologies, frameworks, and audit objectives.
• Experience handling and analyzing data in various formats to identify insights and draw actionable conclusions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Entry-level proficiency in software development best practices and methodologies.
• Ability to leverage AI tools with human judgment to improve delivery quality and client insights.

Nice to have

• Interest in advanced analytics and automation technologies such as Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform, and Python.
