Procurement and Operations

Location: On-site in San Jose, United States. The team is fully in-person at the San Jose office; relocation support is available for those moving to San Jose.

What you will do

• Manage daily purchasing across indirect and NPI spend, converting requests into RFQs, quotes, requisitions, and accurate purchase orders.
• Track open orders through delivery and communicate status to requesters, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounts Payable, and Engineering.
• Review and negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQs, payment terms, shipping terms, expedite fees, and shipping costs.
• Manage supplier relationships and documentation requirements.
• Partner with Accounts Payable and Finance on vendor setup, invoices, payments, and PO/invoice discrepancies.
• Improve procurement workflows, trackers, templates, and handoffs as the company scales.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, NPI operations, manufacturing operations, or hardware startup operations.
• Hands-on experience issuing and tracking purchase orders, managing RFQs, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating deliveries across indirect and technical/NPI categories.
• Experience with ERP or procurement tools such as NetSuite, Mesh, SAP, or Ramp.
• Familiarity with vendor onboarding, NDAs, W-9s, banking forms, and invoice/payment workflows.
• Strong written communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Commercial judgment to challenge pricing, compare prior purchases, and identify inaccurate quotes.
• Strong follow-through, comfort with ambiguity, ability to move quickly without perfect inputs, high ownership, low ego, and a bias toward action.

Nice to have

• Experience in hardware, semiconductors, electronics, manufacturing, data center infrastructure, or contract manufacturing.
